1. There's such a thing as Phantom Rain
Sometimes rain can fall from the sky without ever actually reaching the ground. This is called 'phantom rain' and happens in certain conditions when rain evaporates before it touches the earth.
2. Raindrops aren't teardrop shaded
When a raindrop first forms it's a spherical shape but as it falls hitting other raindrops, the shape starts to change. All the while, resistance in the air causes the bottom of the droplet to flatten and curve, so by the time a raindrop reaches the ground it's more of a jelly bean shape, rather than a teardrop shape.
3. We spend 6 months of our lives talking about it
