The updates include:
- Gatherings of up to six people - or two households - are now permitted outdoors
- These gatherings are allowed to take place in public spaces (such as parks) as well as in private gardens
- Outdoor sports facilities, such as tennis courts and football pitches, are permitted to reopen
Indoor gatherings and indoor sports are still no longer permitted, although these rules should lift as the roadmap progresses.
