2015 has been an interesting year for logo design. We've seen various different styles develop over the year including a move towards flat design, retro designs, and also more 'basic' typographic logos.
You can read more about 2015 logo design trends in our blog, "The Basics Of Logo Design" (Link at the bottom of page).
So what does 2016 hold for logo design? No one can be 100% sure, but we've picked some of our favourite trends that we hope to see more of in the future.
Typographic Designs
A typographic logo is typically extremely basic, featuring only the company name, sometimes with the addition of a small logo or shape.
Line Drawings
Logos using line drawings are also becoming popular. Above is a very basic example, however, talented designers can create beautiful illustrations from these lines.
Retro Logos
Classic and retro styles are in at the moment, so we're seeing an increase in logos in a similar style. With these logos, it's common to see mocked ageing marks like dust and scratches.
