Trade Shows Are the Best Place to Give Out Promotional Giveaways

Trade shows are very important in many industries for gaining new customers but how can you get people to look at your stall, compared to all the others? The answer is with personalised giveaways.

Everyone loves to be given something for free. Even if it something as small as a pen, as long as it's free it will be popular. For this reason, we think that personalised giveaways are a great way to attract people to come to your stall at a trade show. Once the people are at your stall, it is up to you to use your charm and customer service to win over the business.

Statistics show that 72% of trade show attendees believe that a trade show influences their buying decision. This means it is vitally important to make a good impression. It is said that an impression is made within 30 seconds of meeting someone. If this is true, then staff at your stall should be seen as professional, polite and helpful. Similarly, personalised giveaways can help as they are what entices someone to come to the stall.

Furthermore, 87% of attendees at a trade show will tell at least six other people about what they have found, or learnt from the show. This means that even if you don't entice customers from the show, depending on how well you sell your business you may still get business. This means that every customer counts at a trade show.

So, what can you give away at a trade show which will persuade people to look at your stall? Importantly, the products should be cost effective. There are many people who may come to your stall to take something for free, then you will not see them again. At the same time, they need to be useful and have a high perceived value to ensure visitors to your stall.

Popular trade show giveaways tend to include bags, pens and lanyards. However, why not step away from the norm and give away something different to the other stalls? The last thing a person wants is to go home with ten promotional bags! Promotional sweets would be very popular distributed at a trade show, so could be considered. Similarly, mugs are always popular giveaways. Both of these items are low in cost and an attractive giveaway.

If you have a trade show coming up in the next six months, you need to consider the personalised giveaways you are going to use to entice people to visit your stall.
