We've got some big news to share: it's our birthday!
Today (3 September 2020) marks 16 years since Jason O'Connor, David Stoddart and Michelle Rae Stoddart launched Total Merchandise.

That's 16 years since the idea for TM was first born, operating out of the founders' spare rooms at home - and well over a decade of leading the way at the forefront of the UK's promotional merchandise industry.
Whilst we celebrated our 15th birthday in the office (spot Michelle, Dave and Jay above with just some of the balloons and cakes we had to mark the occasion), our 16th has been a little different thanks to a certain global pandemic. No names mentioned but we're looking very firmly at you, COVID-19.
That said, our transition from 15 into 16 has undoubtedly been one of our busiest and most exciting years yet, with record sales, various brand developments and an office expansion all taking place in the first six months. And then there was also the small matter of the Total Merchandise team winning not one but two highly prestigious industry awards...
Yup, that's right: in December 2019, we were voted Sourcing City's Promotional Merchandise Distributor of the Year (in the £5m+ category), whilst in February 2020, we were crowned Promotional Merchandise Distributor of the Year 2020 at the British Promotional Merchandise Association's glittering awards event.
Of course, the latter half of our 15th year was completely different to what any of us could have imagined, and our team has pulled together fantastically when it comes to adapting to the 'new normal'. We're excited and ready to make our 16th year even more brilliant and memorable than our 15th... And those are pretty big boots to fill - so let's do this!
