Global warming plays a huge factor in the reason most people have become so eco-conscious. Global warming is the rise in the Earth's temperature recorded since the 19th Century. Since the early 20th century the Earth's average surface temperature has risen by 0.8c. Warm weather then causes the sea to expand, as the sea expands more and more land will disappear. Global warming is happening as you read this, it is impossible to stop. Even if everyone in the world made the maximum effort, there is no way it can be stopped. The best we can do is slow it down. Scientists predicted that if we don't change the way we are living then the Earth would be a completely different place to what it is now in just two hundred years. We may not be around then, but our ancestors will. So it is important to be eco-friendly for the sake of future generations.
