Let's face it. We all like a whinge about how hard our respective lives are, but one 'group' that we all really do owe a huge debt of gratitude to is 'Mums'. And, with the end of the school year looming soon, we can almost hear the groan of expectant stress from Mums up and down our fine nation as they ponder how to keep kids occupied for 6 weeks. Don't Mum's deserve a break too?
Mums are also a very lucrative target buying audience for many a business. Disposable income can be higher than average and Mums have their own form of 'Social Media'. The school gate - buy a group of Mums a branded gift with your company name on and you'll be guaranteed of a mention outside the gates as Mums natter waiting for their little treasures to finish for the day.
Branded gifts for Mums can be a little 'ironic'. How about a 'promotional stress toy' campaign for example? Great for private schools to give to parents at the end of term. Kind of like saying 'it's your problem now'...without actually saying it.
