More and more CEO's and marketers are finding they are needing to think of new innovative ideas to keep their business running. One way to help keep your business running is through investing in printed giveaways to your most loyal customers as well as to attract new ones.

As with any investment, you need to think carefully about what you will be giving away and how you will be distributing the product. You need to have a specific plan in place to ensure your investment is worthwhile. You should first consider your target market. Whilst you may want to, it's impractical to give every single person one of your promotional products. You should think specifically about your objectives, who you want to target and why you want to target them. You need to know who will give your brand the most visibility and how much ROI you will receive on each item. It should spark enough curiosity from others whilst not costing too much money. This means it needs to have a high perceived value rather than actually having a high value! The most popular promotional items are pens, bags and mugs. If you are looking for a product with a high perceived value then mugs would be a very good product to invest in. This is because there is such a wide range of mugs so you can go for any style. You could choose to go for a ceramic style or a travel mug style to give a really high perceived value.

Printed giveaways are really important in helping any marketing plan, if you want to keep ahead of your competitors you should consider them within your business.
