Handing your client’s a few promotional items can bring a smile to their faces. As a business owner or manager you’ll know, just how important it is to keep your customers smiling, especially when the sun isn’t shining!
Even though it’s the end of May and the summer months are nearly upon us, it doesn’t necessarily mean the sun will be out all the time (especially if you live in the UK).
It’s been said that people can get depressed with symptoms like sadness, fatigue and hopelessness, from a lack of sunlight; this is why we mentioned, it’s especially important to keep your customers smiling, when the sun isn’t out!
However the UK’s summer isn’t all doom and gloom, as generally speaking, summer usually means warmer weather and happier customers. Happier customers? Yes, happier customers; in the summer the sun is closer and there is usually less cloud to cover it up; people get vitamin D from sunlight, which can contribute to your customers feeling a little happier.
Vitamin D is an essential vitamin, and lack of it can lead to rickets. But don’t panic, your clients won’t get all depressed when the sun isn’t shining, in the winter, as vitamin D can also be found in a number of foods too, such as oily fish, and eggs.
Summer also offers many people a chance to have a little break from their 9-5 jobs (another reason to smile). And there is also nothing quite like strolling along the beach, with an ice cream in hand, listening to the sound of seagulls, with the sun shining down.
