Printed Merchandise for Fangtastic Halloween Campaigns

Now that we are in October, Halloween is just around the corner and if you get in there quickly, you could use printed merchandise for the event!

So, how exactly did Halloween begin? The holiday was believed to have started in ninth century Europe where it was thought that once you died your soul remained in limbo until you passed over to the other side. In order for the souls to go to Heaven to the other side, they had to go 'souling' on the 31st October every year. It was believed that this involved walking through the village/town they lived in handing out 'treats' to Christians.

In return for the treat, they received they would promise to pray for their lost relatives. This is one story told about where the phrase 'trick or treat' came from, although it doesn't explain where 'trick' originated. Another story told is that it originated from old Irish peasants who would go door to door collecting eggs, bread and money in preparation for the festival of St Columb Kill. However it started, it has become a very important part of Halloween tradition.

As with all seasonal events, we have lots of different products available to celebrate Halloween. We've various promotional sweet packets available and chocolates which are always popular in the run-up to Halloween with children and adults alike! Perhaps you could leave them on your reception with a sign stating 'Trick or Treaters'. You could also distribute them to your customers giving them the chance to celebrate Halloween in their own way.

The sweets could be personalised for Halloween, or they could just advertise the company in general. Personalised sweet tubes are always popular throughout the year so any which aren't used can be as the year goes on. The sweet tubes can be filled with jelly beans or chocolate beans and the packaging can be personalised with your branding.

There are a number of different branded sweet cups you can use for the Halloween season on our website.
