Have You Considered Branded Stress Balls For Your Next Marketing Campaign?

Fact: the UK has never been more stressed.

According to statistics shared by the Mental Health Foundation thinktank in 2018, 74% of Brits had experienced levels of stress in the 12 months prior to the study, with three-quarters of them admitting they had felt overwhelmed or unable to cope with day-to-day life.

Speaking about the study at the time, Isabella Goldie, Director at the Mental Health Foundation, observed: "Millions of us around the UK are experiencing high levels of stress and it is damaging our health. Stress is one of the great public health challenges of our time, but it still isn't being taken as seriously as physical health concerns. Stress is a significant factor in mental health problems including anxiety and depression. It is also linked to physical health problems like heart disease, problems with our immune system, insomnia and digestive problems. Individually we need to understand what is causing us personal stress and learn what steps we can take to reduce it for ourselves and those around us". (Discover more insights from the research by reading the full report.)

With that in mind - and with the modern world moving at an ever-faster pace, be it in the workplace, online or at home - there can be all manner of untold pressures and worries that your customers have to contend with on a daily basis.

So - what can be done to tackle stress? Of course, that's a huge question and one that we're hardly qualified to answer. However, there is one simple thing your business could consider in order to help tackle stress among colleagues and customers. The NHS has previously cited the use of a stress ball as a means to help people deal with stress. For example, they recommend squeezing a stress toy in sync with breathing in order to encourage a moment or two of mindfulness.

What Kind Of Marketing Campaign Can A Promotional Stress Ball Support?

  • Health-related campaigns: as well as the obvious wellbeing benefits of offering the user a little light stress relief,
  • Professional or academic campaigns: fiddling with a stress toy has actually been proven to help focus concentration.
  • Brand awareness generation at events such as trade shows, consumer fairs and so on

And that's just a handful of examples!
