Get Your Profits Hopping: 4 Creative Easter Marketing Ideas

Easter is a ridiculously profitable season that your company should be taking advantage of. According to the National Retail Federation, our friends across the pond in the US spent $2.4 billion on chocolate last year for Easter, whilst the International Council of Shopping Centres have shown that Millennials will spend more money on Easter than any other age group. There you have your first top tip: make sure you do some creative marketing over Easter and ensure that you focus it on Millennials if you want to see your profits hop! We’ve put together our four favourite creative marketing ideas that you can take on board this coming season.

Run an Easter promotion

It’s likely that your company will have run some sort of seasonal promotion over Christmas, but why stop there? As we showed in our previous article, it doesn’t matter if your brand is linked directly to Easter or not; if Carlsberg could advertise beer through a chocolate bar, there will be a way for you to also creatively market your brand! By having a special Easter time-limited offer, it will encourage and motivate your potential customers to quickly purchase your service or product. Moreover, running an Easter promotion will increase website traffic through an interest in discounts. If you do decide to run an Easter promotion, make sure you blast it all over your social media profiles and send out emails to all of your customers!

Create an Easter egg hunt

Adults want to play just as much as children do! If you have a store, you can set up an egg-hunt around the premises by hiding branded Easter eggs. Perhaps inside the egg you could even include a special discount code or offer to make it even more fun. If your business operates only through a website, fear not, you can set up a virtual egg hunt on your website instead!

Become a sponsor

Perhaps you don’t have time or resources to run an Easter promotion or set up an egg hunt, however, you could, instead, sponsor a local Easter event. Chances are that there will be local schools or sports clubs hosting special Easter events such as BBQ’s or Easter egg hunts; by contacting the people in charge of these events you could have the opportunity to provide prizes of some sort for the event and get your brand name out there! You could even go to the event and hand out flyers with your branding so people know who you are.

Loyal eggs

If big, flashy events aren’t your thing, you could look into rewarding some of your more loyal customers, or, loyal eggs! People love receiving surprises, so you could select your most loyal clients to receive a special Easter gift. The gift could be in the form of a gift voucher, a special discount code, a limited time offer, or perhaps even an actual Easter egg!

From the big ideas to the small, as you can see there are numerous ways that your business can get involved in the Easter season to get your profits hopping!
