Promotional Merchandise Predictions For 2012

The end of the year is nye. It's the end of next month! Thereafter we go into a new year with fresh hopes for all things personal, work and health-related. It's, therefore, a good opportunity to start pondering here at Total Merchandise what product innovations may be coming along in 2012.

Something that became quite apparent in not just 2011 but 2010 and the years before that, is the size of technology. USB pens have gotten smaller and smaller. The chips inside the USBs have, as well as getting smaller, been upgraded to actually hold more memory. 2011 saw our first 64Gb USB's and in 2012 we expect to see 128Gb + drives in even more innovative shapes and sizes!

Other products that stood out in 2011 which we expect to see expanded upon in 2012 are 'light related' products. We've brought you flashing ice cubes, flashing toothbrushes and small LED torches with logos in the beam. We expect to see an expansion of these types of products in the next 12 months.

Our final prediction relates to colour co-ordinated products. We've been finding that more and more clients are looking for promotional merchandise not so much for their price or functionality, but for their ability to match other forms of promotional merchandise or even non-corporate gifts. Examples include silicon covers for iPads and iPhones.
