Show your Support with Promotional Gifts

Promotional gifts will always be appreciated, as they are like any gift; given from one person (or company) to another, without expecting anything in return. Although promotional gifts are slightly different, as even though you’re not expecting your clients to give you anything in return, you can, however, expect to increase your brand awareness. No matter what the promotional gift is, as long as it has your branding prominently shown, wherever that little (or big) promotional gift goes, it will be showing off your company name; thus when people do see you branding elsewhere, they will instantly recognise it.

Depending on your target market, you may want to consider the type of promotional gifts you hand out. For instance, if your target market work in an office, promotional office accessories would be perfect for them. However, if your target market loves sports, then promotional gifts that are more sport orientated would be better.

One promotional gift, that really stands out in a crowd is a promotional baseball cap. A promotional baseball cap can be used as a fashion accessory when playing or watching a sport; and comes in handy, especially when the sun is shining.

One of the first baseball teams to wear a baseball cap, during a match, was the Brooklyn Excelsior team. In 1854, this baseball team wore one of the first baseball caps ever made. By this team wearing a baseball cap, throughout their games, by the 1900’s the ‘Brooklyn Cap’ became the ‘must-have item’ to anybody supporting this team.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with baseball, it’s a lot like Rounders. Baseball includes a bat, a ball, and two teams of nine. The aim of the game is to hit the ball (once thrown by the other team) and then score runs, by running around the pitch. There are four posts you must run to, and the opposing team can get players out, by catching the ball, or by hitting a ‘post’ with the ball, before the player gets to the post. The team with most runs at the end of the game wins.

Players in minor and major leagues are traditionally known for wearing baseball caps; these would be classic style hats and were commonly made with wool or polyester. Each team in the baseball league has its own cap, with their logo embodied onto it. Fans buy similar hats (or caps), as a sign of support for the team… much like football fans in the UK buy football t-shirts with their team’s logo on.

There are many different types of promotional hats to choose from, and all are perfect for increasing brand awareness. They are also priced affordably, which makes them great contenders for your promotional gifts.
