Branded Medical Merchandise To Show You Value Your Patients

Private hospitals have a big obligation showing patients why they should pay for private healthcare, this is where medical merchandise can come in handy.

A private hospital is generally a profitable company and is funded by patients, insurers or another company. As healthcare is free on the NHS within the UK, it can be difficult to show patients why they should pay to go privately. Private hospitals are much more common in places like the USA and Australia but less so in the UK. It is generally down to the individual patient to decide whether they would like to pay for healthcare, but recruiting patients is down to each individual private hospital.

So how can you 'recruit' patients? Surely, if someone is ill, they will go to their local Doctors surgery which is generally an NHS practice? As private healthcare centres have realised this, they have used other methods of marketing to try and bring in patients. This includes being an affiliate of big companies, allowing them to offer employees free private healthcare as an incentive. If this is the case, why not send these companies some medical merchandise?

When sending medical merchandise, think about what the recipient is likely to actually use. For example, whilst hand sanitisers are good items of merchandise, they can be used fairly quickly so you will require something which is more long-lasting and will hold your brand name for longer.

Promotional stress balls are a good way of getting your brand noticed. Jobs can be stressful, whatever sector you work in. Unfortunately, stress leads to many different health problems. By providing your customers with stress balls you are showing them you care about their health and that they need to be less stressed at work. With the stress balls on the Total Merchandise website, you could even go one step further by investing in Doctor and Nurse shaped stress toys. These can have your telephone number printed onto them so your number is always at hand.

First aid storage kits are also good to give to your affiliates. These can be put up in their staff rooms, offices and other areas. The kits can be branded with your telephone number and logo, reminding staff if they need you they can contact. This can also advertise your services to visitors to their offices, which may, in turn, bring more customers through your door.

If you are a private hospital struggling to think of a marketing campaign, consider medical merchandise.
