How Can Branded Gifts Earn Your Business Trust and Respect

Everyone likes to receive a gift, in business a gift is also given out, this is called a branded gift. A branded gift can be given out at special occasions just like the ordinary gift you receive, at Christmas and other special holidays. A branded gift is a gift that has been printed with a company name, logo or product on, to promote the company.

Branded gifts don’t just have to be given out to other companies, in meetings or on business trips. Branded gifts can also be given out to the public, which in turn could become your vital customers. Branded gifts can come in all shapes and sizes, from promotional toys for children to promotional mugs for the adults, depending on who your target market is. Branded gifts are usually given out at trade shows, conferences, and even festivals. Branded gifts are used in guerrilla marketing campaigns.

Guerrilla marketing campaigns are campaigns that use energy and imagination to promote, rather than having a big marketing budget. Guerrilla marketing campaigns are usually unexpected and unconventional and target consumers in unexpected places (*). For example at a festival, promotional badges, lanyards, and goodie bags are all considered a form of branded gift and so used in guerrilla marketing campaigns to promote a company or product in an imaginative way.

At a festival the last thing someone wants is to be bombarded with promotion, ‘with buys this and buy that’. Branded gifts are a fantastic subtle way of promoting a company or product in a unique and engaging way. A banded gift not only provides benefits for the company (promotion), a branded gift also provides the customer with benefits as well (a gift).

Telling someone to hand over their hard earned money straight away without providing them with benefits as well will be enough to get anyone’s back up. Providing the customer with benefits such as a gift opens up a barrier of trust and respect between you and the customer this could prove to be a better way to get the attention of your customers and hopefully gain their trust and custom.

Branded gifts can also be thought provoking and generate a buzz that could make the customers want to have you as a point of call to do business with.

A thought provoking branded gift could be a promotional product that has a cleaver phrase that a company abides by. This could be a meaningful saying or something that provokes the minds of the customers. The more a customer focuses on trying to solve a problem or think about the cleaver phrase printed onto your branded gift, the more the company name, logo or product is secretly seeping into their minds. So a branded gift is a great form of promotion for a company.
