E-Leather is made in Northamptonshire, UK from leather waste which would normally go to landfill. Water pressure is then used to bind the fibres into a soft pliable leather material with a soft waxy feel. The key difference between E-Leather (which is UK made patented process) and other mainly Chinese “bonded” leathers, sometimes described as “recycled”, is that E-Leather is manufactured without the use of oil-based adhesives or solvents which are harmful to the environment.
