• Intended Use: The UV-C light effectively reduces microbial contaminants typically found in treated tap water. It is ideal for everyday use where the water source is already potable but may carry residual bacteria.
• Limitations: This bottle is not designed for purifying untreated or visibly dirty water, such as from rivers, lakes, or streams. It does not filter out sediment, heavy metals, chemicals, or larger organisms like parasites (e.g., Giardia or Cryptosporidium), which are common in natural sources.
