Recycled cotton comes from factory offcuts from clothes and towels which are collected, sorted by colour and cut smaller. They are then broken down mechanically into fibres and spun into yarn with added Rpet to make the bag which is then quality-checked and then at the end of life the bag can be recycled with old clothes. Therefore recycling cotton mitigates and reduces the need to harvest raw cotton!
