Due to continued success and expansion, we are looking to recruit a front-end website engineer to join our existing web development team.

Duties

Reporting to the Tech Lead and company directors, the successful candidate should be highly experienced with front-end website fundamentals and should be an expert in modern front-end technologies and tooling (Webpack, npm, Yarn, gulp). The candidate should also have strong experience in one modern web development framework (React, Vue, or Angular).

The successful candidate will be working closely with the existing web development team to develop new systems that are set to disrupt and revolutionise the industry. You will play a critical role in selecting the tooling and frameworks used to execute and deliver this project. Particularly favoured candidates will also have a flair for UX design.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing and building high quality web user experiences and applications. Joining a fast-moving team, we’re looking for someone who is excited about the current web development ecosystem and who will be prepared to hit the ground running, bringing aboard their valued experience and insight.

Skills essential for this role:

  • Expert knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
  • Strong experience with one of React, Vue, or Angular
  • Strong experience with vanilla JavaScript
  • Strong experience with front-end tooling (Webpack, npm, Yarn, Grunt, gulp.js, Docker)

Skills desirable for this role:

  • A flair for UX design
  • Awareness of backend web development techniques (PHP, Symfony, Laravel)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or design disciplines
